Cloudhouses specialise in the design, manufacture and hire of immaculate, comfortable boutique camping accommodation at music festivals nationwide.

Here at Cloudhouses home of yurts and squrts we hand make our event accomodation in rural Northumbrian workhops. We use local resources and local staff  who we train in house to Cloudhouses high standards. Our yurt designs and ideas are influenced by ancient,  nomadic structures originating from central Asia where they have been used for thousands of years. The elegant yet simple design of yurts has evolved over the centuries and has become perfectly suited to a harsh climate and demanding way of life. The yurt is still very much in use today and are becoming increasingly popular in western culture. Often used as a low energy and affordable alternative to modern housing,  Glamp sites and of course as a popular event and festival accommodation option.

Yurts are easy to insulate and very cheap to heat. They can even be placed on raised timber floors which make yurts truly luxurious spaces to be in. Yurts are extremely versatile structures and suit a variety of modern day uses from dwelling place to office and of course yurts make perfect festival dwellings too.

Squrts are fun and quirky miniature yurts, The squrt has been designed and hand-made by us in our workshop in rural Northumberland. Squrts are colourful, cosy and unique, created exclusively to provide an unforgettable, luxury camping experience.

Our festival glamping and event yurts vary from 9 feet to 30 feet in diameter. We offer accommodation which is  simple and basic, with beds on the floor. All the way up to our luxury yurts with wooden beds and electricity points. We even have a yurt beauty parlour complete with hair dryers & GHD hair straighteners, which comes alongside our stretch tent reception for our festival guests to use too. As shown Below
